Something to Think About
The Nativity by Fra Angelico, O.P.
R.B.WORDS - VOLUME 28 - NUMBER 12 - CHRISTMAS 2015
IT HAS BEEN SAID:
For better or worse, it is a truth that, for twenty centuries, there have been untold numbers of men and women who, in untold numbers of ways, have been so grasped by the child who was born, so caught up in the message he taught and the life he lived that they have found themselves profoundly changed by their relationship with him. And they have gone on proclaiming, as the writers of the Gospels proclaimed before them, that through the birth of Jesus a life giving power was released into the world which to their minds could have been no less than the power of God himself.

SCHEDULES AND EVENTS:
I will be spending Christmas in Lubbock. My dear friends, the Bakers, will come for a couple of days before Christmas. My Advent preaching in Camarillo, CA, and Pensacola, FL went well, and I continue to be amazed at the diversity and unity of Catholic faith I encounter in moving from place to place. January will find me covering on three weekends for the pastor in the town of Post, TX, about 25 miles south of Lubbock. January 7-19 I will be in Tucson for the retreat I make there and then in Phoenix for a baptism.
To each of you, my Beloved Readers, I promise a grateful remembrance at my Christmas Masses and wish you a blessed Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year. Fr. R. B. Williams, O.P.
